Why do my horoscopes feel different from generic sun-sign horoscopes?
Because they are. Generic horoscopes are written for everyone born in a 30-day window. What is a natal planet hit?
A natal planet hit is when a transiting planet forms a major aspect (conjunction, opposition, square, or trine) to one of your natal planets. These are the most personally felt moments in astrology — the sky is speaking directly to your chart, not just to your sun sign.
What does intensity mean?
Intensity rates how strongly a transit is likely to be felt in your chart. Major means a direct natal planet contact or an angular house activation — these are rare and personally significant. Significant means there is meaningful house activation or secondary contact. Moderate is a background influence.
What is the difference between a conjunction, opposition, square, and trine?
Each aspect has a different quality. Conjunctions merge and intensify (0°). Oppositions create tension and push-pull dynamics (180°). Squares create friction and drive action (90°). Trines bring ease and flow (120°). The same planet activating the same house will feel very different depending on the aspect type.
Why does the app show different badges — 'Touches', 'Opposes', 'Squares', 'Trines'?
These badges show exactly what kind of aspect a transiting planet is making to your natal planets. 'Touches' is a conjunction — the most direct activation. 'Opposes' signals relational tension. 'Squares' signals productive friction. 'Trines' signals ease and support. Each is genuinely different in how it feels.
What are angular houses?
The 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses — called angular houses — are the most outward-facing and powerful areas of a chart. Transits activating these houses tend to be visible, impactful, and harder to ignore than transits to other houses.
